Xterprise has created a software-as-a-service (SaaS) edition of its Xterprise Automated RFID Module (XARM) specifically targeted at retail suppliers who are required to meet the new Sam's Club pallet-tagging requirement. The XARM 5000 (On-Demand) solution will use a hosted application and web technology enabling remote RFID label printing from a simple web browser vs. an application terminal. The solution, like the rest of the Xterprise source tagging suite, is completely turnkey and includes: user management and access control, creation and management of retail shipment destinations, automated generation of sequential serial numbers, printer management EPC RFID encoding for each SKU being tagged, high quality RFID label selection for maximum read rates in the retail environments, and full support of the solution under the their tiered support plans.
