Feature articles and original research

Feature articles are added to the site regularly. They are longer than the news articles and contain analysis of recent developments, 'how-to' information (such as new business models or metrics), in-depth results of new surveys and reports, and much more.

Our articles are all written either in-house, or by respected contributors. Every article carries full contact details, with links to any relevant web sites.

Better still, subscribers to UsingRFID's weekly news e-mail service will know immediately when new feature articles are available.

News – researched and analysed

The latest news is added to the news page regularly. Every relevant story is covered with full details and analysis for your benefit. Unlike so many, we don't just copy the press releases – we examine each story as it breaks, and provide you with a well researched write up. Every story carries contact details for those involved, along with links to any relevant websites you may want to see.

The thirty latest news headlines are always listed on the site's news page, and simply clicking on one of those headlines reveals the whole story. And you can keep up to date either by using the site's news page, or by following the links provided in our weekly e-mail news service.

Search through the news archives

You can also search our entire news archive – including the latest news – using any combination of key words and phrases... and our news archive goes back way beyond the headlines you see on the daily news page!

Hear the latest by e-mail every week

Sign up for our free weekly news e-mail service and you'll get brief summaries of the latest key news stories, some of which have links to the full news article on UsingRFID's news page. The weekly e-mails are short and to-the-point – and they have no graphics, banners or adverts in them. Just the facts. And for an easy read, you can have them sent in HTML or plain text formats, too!

Extra News Briefs

There's a large number of interesting and relevant stories that don't quite fit into our mainstream News page – but we still like to keep you informed about them in case you find them useful. We call them 'briefs' because that's exactly what they are. Each news brief is a quick summary of what we've heard, along with the necessary contact details so you can follow it up if it interests you.

The news briefs aren't a replacement for the main news page – in fact no story ever appears on both pages. Check the briefs daily to keep yourself up-to-date with the industry's most interesting tasty morsels.

Find out where to be, and when

UsingRFID keeps a diary of industry events which gives you the full details of each event, plus contact details and web site links for the event organisers.

UsingRFID's book shelf

This contains reviews of the latest books on the subject, as well as the older classics that have retained their usefulness. Each book has links to one or more internet booksellers who can supply them.

Each book's review is detailed, and the contents are covered in depth, explaining what the book is about, and how it can benefit you. Where possible, we've included the full list of contents so you'll get a better idea of the structure and complexity of the book.

Contacts, Resources and Web Links

As an extra aid to our members, we provide lists of professional and trade associations, RFID industry resources, and internet links to useful sites.
